PROMOTING SENIOR SPORTS ACROSS BORDERS

PROMOTING SENIOR SPORTS ACROSS BORDERS

January 2021- December 2021 (postponed to January 2022 – December 2022)

Project Leader: Hungarian Leisure Sport Association (HLSA)

Europe has an ageing population. Senior citizens are subject to social exclusion and physically inactive lifestyle. Older people need adapted physical activities according to their needs and opportunities. Such services are less developed in most of the partnering countries thus they wish to participate in knowledge transfer in this field in partnership with better developed programs for the specific target group. This project has therefore identified the main topic of social inclusion and equal opportunities that will be promoted by the development of sport and physical activity programs for the older adults. This project also addresses the mobility of sport staff of partnering organizations, but since the reason for mobility is the exchange of good practices in the field of senior sports the main subject of social inclusion of older adults has been identified. By sharing experience in the field of promotion of senior sports and developing more senior friendly physical activities, the needs of older adults will be better reflected, their social engagement will be promoted, and their healthy years will be longer.

Coordinator of the projects is Hungarian Leisure Sport Association (HLSA) together with the partners: Association Sport for all Serbia (ASFAS), Deutscher Turner-Bund (DTB) – German Gymnastics Federation, City Association for Sports Recreation “Sport for All” Osijek (CASR) – Croatia and MAKKA Szabadidősport Egyesület (MAKKA Leisure Sport Association).

The Promoting senior sports across borders project is co-funded by the Erasmus+Sport Programme of the European Union.

PROMOCIJA SPORTA STARIJIH OSOBA PREKO GRANICA

Januar 2021- Decembar 2021 (odložen za Januar 2022 – Decembar 2022)

Koordinator projekta: Mađarska Asocijacija za slobodno vreme (HLSA)

Evropa ima stanovništvo koje stari. Stariji građani podležu socijalnoj isključenosti i fizički neaktivnom načinu života.
